Duties require performing general maintenance on all buildings and equipment. Also requires continuous standing and walking to various work locations throughout all of our plant locations. Specific assignments may require varying work positions. Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment and supplies up to 55 lbs.
Duties include performing preventive maintenance (including greasing and oiling) on various machines and equipment. Trouble shooting, repairing and installing a wide range of industrial wood working equipment, including automated production lines. Light electrical work, electrical experience desired but not required. Welding is also necessary. Must be familiar with and able to perform hydraulic and pneumatic work.
Candidates must be 18 years old, physically capable of lifting / maneuvering up to 55 lbs. regularly, able to work from heights (boom lift) occasionally, be capable of standing for 8 hours / shift, have good work tenure in prior employment, be flexible in completing job duties as assigned and bring a positive, "can-do" attitude. Valid drivers license with clean driving record required. Ability to travel to our multi-state locations may be required.
First Shift Hours: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday with
overtime as needed
Shifts include a paid break and paid lunch. Overtime hours as needed to maintain equipment performance to meet production requirements. Rotating on-call schedule.
